Sing helps Yee get away with his lies and at the same time, initiates a truce with Yee. Sing helps Yee because he wants Yee to continue to gamble as he believes that one day Yee will lose. Mary takes a step further and introduces the card game, “Black Jack”, for the people to gamble. She even proposes to have a share in Sing’s business. In order to raise money, Mary invites Madame Ho to invest into Sing’s casino business too. Ying breaks Mary’s diamond by accident.
