YAN appoints YEUNG to inherit the Sacred Sword before he dies. YU follows YEUNG to shoulder the responsibility to get rid of demons and monsters. They kill the SNAKE KING. CHING escapes and swears to avenge her husband's death. YEUNG comes across CHI. YEUNG is impressed by CHI who is a kind and naive girl. CHI finds a female fox who has got hurt. She brings the fox to her grandfather. In fact the fox is her mother. THUNDER GOD urges CHI to marry him. CHI's five grandfathers protect her. CHING threatens CHI to betray YEUNG. In exchange she will give CHI the Lightning Rope to drive THUNDER GOD away. CHI refuses to help CHING. THUNDER GOD arrives and CHI's grandfathers fight with him.
