Hänet ja muut jäljellä olevat gargoilit kirotaan uinumaan tuhannen vuoden ajan. Miljardööri David Xanatos ostaa linnan ja siirtää sen New Yorkiin päämajakseen. Etsivät Elisa Maza ja David Xanatos löytävät heränneet gargoilit, kun linnaan hyökätään. Gargoilit yrittävät pysytellä huomaamattomina taistellessaan sekä vanhoja että uusia vihollisia vastaan. Päivisin gargoilit ovat vain kiveä, mutta öisin he muuttuvat sotureiksi.
