田仲俊彦（绿川光 配音）在初中时代就已经是实力不菲的足球高手了，为了追随崇拜的足球手久保嘉晴，俊彦考入了挂川高中，并加入了足球部。在赛场上，俊彦散发出了耀眼夺目的光芒，很快，他就成为了球队之中的红人，受到了队长久保的承认和赏识。俊彦和初中时代的黄金搭档平松与白石健二三人一起进入了球队的首发名单，然而，就在这个节骨眼上，俊彦得知了久保患上了白血病的消息。这一噩耗让俊彦深受打击，失去了斗志，在劲敌马堀和恋人美奈子等人的鼓励和帮助下，俊彦总算重新找回了斗志，他要带着久保的遗愿，在全国大赛的赛场之上将宿敌藤田东高中球队打得落花流水。
