Celine Lucasová a jej syn Elliott sa presťahovali do mestečka Wickensburg. Je ponuré a neprívetivé. Obaja sa snažia nájsť si nových priateľov, ale aj ľudia sú takí, ako je ich mesto. A preto Willow pátra po starej knihe, v ktorej nájde možnosť záchrany mesta. Eliott sa k jej pátraniu pridá a mama Celina, ktorá je novinárka, začína svoje vlastné vyšetrovanie. Príde tak na väčšie problémy, ktoré sa v meste ututlávajú...
