Cynthia Kyle gaat wraakzuchtig de puberteit in en vermoordt haar ouders terwijl ze de liefde bedrijven: ze wilde dat haar vader alleen van haar hield. Acht jaar later is ze vrij en wil ze trouwen, maar nachtmerries plagen haar, dus zoekt ze psychiatrische hulp. De dokter vraagt haar een droom te beschrijven: deze is lang en uitgebreid met dromen van Lucifer, Hell en haar ouders in verschillende gedaanten. Om haar schuldgevoelens kwijt te raken, raadt de psychiater haar aan zelfmoord te plegen in haar volgende droom. Daarin wordt ze verliefd op een kunstenaar die haar aan haar vader doet denken, reageert ze op een vrouw die haar aantrekkelijk vindt en viert ze haar eerste schoolplein kus. De droom brengt haar terug naar het bed van haar ouders. Is er enige genezing mogelijk?
