1969-ieji. Prieš išvykdami į karo mėsmalę, abu broliai su savo merginoms Krise ir Beile nusprendžia paskutinį kartą pasilinksminti ir leidžiasi į kelionę po Teksasą. Nelaimingo atsitikimo metu Krisė rimtai sužeidžiama. Įvykio vietoje netikėtai pasirodo pamišęs šerifas Hoitas.
