気が弱く、いつもいじめられてばかりの"白金 ハル" 最強の男を目指し、海の向こうからやってきた"タイガ" ふたりの少年はとある夕暮れ、最強のXBプレーヤーであり、 ミナトトライブのリーダーである"神谷 瞬"と出会う。 それと時を同じくして、ネオトーキョーに散らばる各トライブは、 大きな脅威にさらされようとしていた。 ネオトーキョー国王"鳳 天心"の命令によって、 謎の男"鳳 王次郎"率いるチヨダトライブが、 国中のトライブの制圧をはじめたのだ。 その魔の手は、ミナトトライブにも及ぼうとしており…。 「自分を変えたい」 「とにかく最強の男を目指す」 「ただ、XBを楽しみたい」 己の譲れぬ信念を貫くため、 ハル、タイガ、神谷はXBの打席に立つ――！
