レジーナは友人とのスキー旅行の途中で離婚を決意するが、帰宅すると夫は死んでいた。さらに、夫が戦時中に3人の男と軍資金を横領したあげく、仲間をだましていた事実が発覚する。3人から脅迫を受けるはめになったレジーナは、旅行で知り合ったピーターに助けを求めるが……。
