Personenschützerin Mona Dengler hat den Auftrag, die Vorsitzende des EU-Landwirtschaftsausschusses Johanna Sieber zu bewachen, der ein Unbekannter gedroht hat. In der Boulevardpresse läuft eine schmutzige Kampagne gegen Johanna. Johanna begreift, dass die Attacke einer EU-Verordnung gilt, die sie im Ausschuss durchboxen will. Offenbar ein Versuch, sie politisch auszuschalten. Was Johanna nicht ahnt: Die Drahtzieher der Pressekampagne erpressen Mona mit einem Fehler aus LKA-Zeiten, ihnen Informationen über Johanna zuzuspielen.
